GAME DESIGN OPTION
The game design option of the Digital Media Design program is a combination of creative vision, critical thinking, technical skills, storytelling, and fundamental design.
Students of game design can expect to study the principles of design, game theory, and programming, as well as courses in specific software tools.
The game design option is not intended as a terminal degree, and should be considered as the first step to a Bachelor's degree in game design which is available at several nearby four-year institutions, such as DeVry Institute of Technology, Ohio Dominican University, Franklin University, Shawnee State, and Ohio State University, which accept most, if not all Central Ohio Technical College course work.
